Public Realm & Planning

The U District is Seattle’s fastest-growing neighborhood. As the neighborhood changes, it’s more important than ever to work closely with the community and public agencies on the infrastructure, policy, and planning projects that are shaping the U District. The U District Partnership frequently serves as the nexus between the community and the developers, public officials, and organizations managing and implementing the transformational urban development taking place throughout the district. Below you will find information on our work in the public realm and on policies that shape our neighborhood’s future. Also you will find resources to help you stay up to date on the public, private, and transit-oriented development happening in the U District.
